Shipping & Returns




Shipping Information: USPS & FedEx (United States):

Scentimental Gifts, etc. does not ship C.O.D. All orders in the continental United States and Canada are shipped by either United States Postal Service (USPS), United Parcel Service (UPS) or Federal Express (FedEx). This means that once the items leave our warehouse, it is the agent (USPS, UPS or FedEx) who is responsible for the safekeeping of your package. Shipping rates are based on the weight of the packaged order. USPS orders are not guaranteed by a certain day, but USPS does indicate that Priority Mail does arrive in 2-3 days. Late deliveries cannot be reimbursed if this option is selected. You can use the tracking number that is sent to you (a copy is also in your account when it ships) to track your package on our website. During busy times, we may upgrade your shipment to PRIORITY MAIL at no extra charge to you in lieu of getting your products to you in a timely manner, unless the shipping method transit time you select is faster. If you wish to OPT OUT OF THIS SERVICE, please indicate so in your order notes. The shipping rates shown on our checkout page are estimations only, but are 99% accurate most of the time. If additional charges are required to ship your order, we will contact via email as soon as possible. Multiple box shipments (large orders) sometimes arrive a day apart and may incur additional shipping charges. Give the packages at least 1 extra day to arrive before calling for a tracer. Priority Mail usually takes about 2-3 days for delivery and FedEx & UPS orders depend on your zone. We are located in Florida.

Processing Times: We try to have every order out as soon as possible once an order is received. If you have purchased items that are not "made-to-order", we can generally have your order shipped within 24 to 72 hours (business days). Please note that this time frame is subject to change during our busy season. The following chart is the estimated number of days to process made-to-order products.

Orders over $2,000.00 receive FREE shipping within continental United States.

Rush Orders: Choosing an expedited shipping method DOES expedite the transit of your item on the carrier, however it DOES NOT expedite your order out of our door. We have a separate RUSH fee for placing your orders above all other customers. It is $10 for every $100 increment, for example, $1 - $100 ($10), $101 - $200 ($20), and so forth. Rush requests must be received by 12:00 noon EST on that day for same day fulfillment. Please note that some products cannot be shipped same day, as they require processing time.

Canadian/International Orders: If you would like a shipping quote for USPS International, please copy & paste the details of your shopping cart into an email and send to orders@scentimentalgifts.net requesting a shipping quote. Our online shipping calculator does not calculate International rates properly for USPS. Any import/customs charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in our shipping quote. Please be aware that additional charges may be assessed or delays may occur by customs at the border, including GST taxes and carrier brokerage fees. We cannot estimate these fees or delays prior to shipping. Please note that some of our products cannot be shipped internationally.

Freight Carriers: Delivery by a trucking company can be arranged on larger orders, call for quotes. If you prefer, you are welcome to arrange for your own freight company to pick up your order instead.

Damaged Shipments: If your package does not arrive in acceptable condition, Do Not Accept it from the carrier. If you accept the damaged package from the courier you will be responsible for the return shipping cost. All packages leave our warehouse in good condition. Our responsibility ceases upon delivery of our goods to the carrier. You must get a claim number from the carrier. Please contact us immediately via email if your order arrives damaged. Upon receipt of the claim reimbursement from the Carrier, we will replace your product.

Returns: Fragrance oils, essential oils, reed diffuser oils, aroma beads, incense, smelly belly bears, simmering ice potpourri, ultimate potpourri & crystal potpourri are not returnable under any circumstances, unless shipped by error on our part. We encourage you to sample our fragrances first to assure your complete satisfaction. This policy is for your protection so we can ensure the high quality of our products. All other merchandise returns accepted only within 7 days of receipt. Returns must be approved, please call or e-mail info@scentdeals.com for authorization. Unless our error, a 15% restocking fee will apply to all returns of our other items to cover credit card fees, labor incurred, etc and 75% restocking fee will be charged to unauthorized returns to cover the same as well as the now unusable products. Approved returned merchandise must be received in proper packaging and in good condition to be accepted.
IF ITEMS ARE NOT RECEIVED IN RE-SALEABLE CONDITION, THEY MAY NOT BE ACCEPTED. Unless due to an error on our part, customer is responsible for shipping on all returns. In-store credit only, no cash refunds are given unless shipment was our error. Do not send new orders with returned items for an exchange! Doing so might delay your order, as returns are unpacked in the order they are received. You will be notified when we receive your return, and then you can use that store credit on a new order. SPECIAL ORDER AND PRIVATE LABELED PRODUCTS ARE NOT RETURNABLE.

Specials/Returns: No substitutes are given on sale items. If any of the desired scents are currently out of stock, you will be asked to choose an alternate. If any sale items are out of stock, a rain check will not be given.

Wholesale: If you are in the state of Florida and would like the taxes waived, we require a copy of your State Resale Certificate. Email: info@scentdeals.com. Upon placing your order, to ensure you do get credit for the taxes, please make a note in the COMMENTS or NOTES section of your order indicating that we have your tax information on file. TERMS: Scentimental Gifts, Etc. does not currently offer payment terms. All orders are shipped on pre-payment terms only.

Warranties: ScentDeals.com makes no warranties, expressed or implied, as to the suitability of any certain product for use in secondary products or the actual results of its use in any such products. ScentDeals.com expressly disclaims any and all liability resulting from the use of these product in any secondary products produced thereby. It is common in our industry for occasional variances to occur in products such as waxes and fragrances, therefore slight adjustments to your formulas/methods may be needed at times.
